I also have a video on my tube-channel regarding the same topic the difference is that I am actually using the car during winter and I am not sure if Bill is doing so :p

CJPP made a winter Mustang driving tips video. It's pretty elementary stuff for those of us who grew up with winter driving, but it's good to review the basics from time to time.

Toggling over to Snow/Wet mode and having Michelin X-Ice tires makes all the difference in this crappy winter weather.

I've driven my V6 in a couple of storms, but this was the 1st time the GT was caught in a storm. I had the Michelin A/S tires but it was still a pain in some parking lot with uncleared snow...

Nice! :like:
IMO snow tires make a big difference compared to all seasons. A/S are good at everything but great at nothing. I use Pirelli winter Sottozero 3’s. Those little grooves are what you want. I think my car is better on the snow and ice than my wife's all wheel drive 4Runner with all seasons. Definitely in acceleration and braking.

Agreed, winter tires make a ton of difference ! I don't intend to drive mine in snow storms at all...only reason i'm running A/S for now is ability to drive the car in winter - when the snow has cleared ofcourse... I usually WFH whenever there's a storm. Next year i'll be getting a second car and then switch to summer tires on the stang.

I still don't understand why the world slams on Mustangs in the winter. Before front wheel drive, ALL cars were Rear Wheel Drive. The fact that mine has the Limited Slip, and a nice set of All-Seasons makes it quite capable to drive all winter. A lot of it really has to do with being able to drive in bad weather to begin with. The addition of modern snow tires makes it even better.

@Condor1970 Agreed. This was my fourth winter in the Mustang—three in Bavaria and the most recent in upstate New York. No issues, and I only had to use my wife’s Subaru during a blizzard. It’s fun to drive the Mustang in snow
