Possibly broken IMRC shaft

It’s possible that the sensors could be bad. In addition, if they to be losing their shape, I’d say replace them. It could be that the shaft has deformed the square and it just spinning inside. If you look closely at mine, you can tell the shape appears to be wearing/deforming already and my car only has 6400 miles on it. i
