For a NA 2015 car, if they both cost the exact same... which would you chose and why? Paired with a Pmas and Lund tune.

Definitely ported '18. Stronger everywhere.

I switched from a ported Boss to a ported 18 manifold. Boss carried power from 7500 to 8000 better but the 18 mani has better torque and power everwhere below 7500. 18 mani will still pull to 8000 no issues but you can feel the difference but it is not major. 18 mani is better all around compared to the boss mani. Much more torque, and for a daily driver it's a better driving experience in my opinion. I had the Boss for more than a year. Had the 18 manifold for almost a year.

Well the Boss was rated at 444hp the 2018 GT is underrated at 460 hp. I’d choose the ‘18. You also need to make alterations to make the Boss manifold fit, so it will cost more to install.

What alterations? Are you talking about the intake install on the motor requires mods, or are you talking about it requires cutting or trimming the hood area?

There are a lot of other changes between the Roadrunner and the Gen 3 Coyote besides the manifold. 12:1 vs 11:1 CR, slightly larger displacement, and the addition of DI fueling in addition to port, to name a few. The Gen 3 is a ~470-475 hp engine. No doubt the manifold is a big part of the performance, though.

So that’s pretty much all I needed to push me over the edge to go with an 18 lol. Next question.. i will be licking out the inrcs but on a 15, would you recommend deleting the evap purge valve in the front all together? Or just leave it and pipe it into the 18 manifold? Thanks!

Leave it and connect it in. It's easy enough.

Alright cool. I’ll just need to find a good diagram showing what to cap and where to run the vacuum lines

The Boss manifold has more height like the CJ. You won’t be able to use the strut bar, will need to lower the engine mounts, or alter/change the hood to get more clearance.

Yeah if I went that route I’d just cut the hood and ditch the strut bar because lowering the engine would give even less clearance for the long tubes, right lol
