Is anyone else taking their car in? I just dropped mine off again for this issue.

Last time, about a month ago, there was no info or TSB about it.

Mine is bad enough that I will not renew my subscription. The music quality is not worth it and live sports sound like they are on A.M radio

I had a 15 and now have a 16. I think the issue is with sync3. The 16 has terrible reception.

Just got my car a few days ago and noticed that Sirius cuts out quite frequently. I thought it was just the norm since I've never had it before.

I have perfect reception in a 2012 Fusion, and previously: 2014 Escape, 2010 Explorer, 2008 Explorer, 2008 Mustang.

My 2015 Mustang cuts out constantly on Sirius. We listen to Sirius, USB or Bluetooth....no broadcast radio.....WAY too much incessant talking and commercials, and way too little music variety.

So, Mine is going in for this. I must demand that it be fixed. Sirius radio is a really big thing for us. The Elvis channel specifically is a deal breaker.

Just an update:

My car has been with Ford since Tuesday the 12th for this issue. I've been told they're reached out to ford corporate regarding the issue as they dont know how to proceed.

I will keep everyone posted with what I hear.

Ford asked them to drive another 2016 mustang with sync3 to see if it did the same thing.

I haven't heard back the status of that, so nothing until Monday. Stay tuned!

At this time my dealer can't fix the car.

They've sent more diagnostic issues to Ford corporate and can't seem to iron it out.

I will pick up the car tomorrow (12 days later) likely unfixed.

My dealer says they will have a Ford engineer come out on a future date and determine what the issue is and how to resolve it.

You have 2 GMCs.. the GM cars use XM versus Sirius that is used in Ford. Although they are the same company the hardware and satellites are different between the two services. So just as a cellular company may have better service in certain areas it is the same with satellite. They have on ground repeaters that unscramble the signal and relay it to your car. So they may not be as many repeaters in your area for sirius as XM..
