2012 GT with FRPP tune, manual trans, 94k miles (yes I know, not a 6G)... Mine does this too, but only occasionally... It's my opinion that this is might not be tuner specific... been tuned for all but the first 12k miles, and the description of others here are the same as mine...

Not sure what it is, but the issue is obviously not specific to the 6G 'Stang.

This is only one example. So it may not be an issue for the 5G stang unless there are many other 5Gs to consider. I am not familiar enough with the 5G to make any determination, but I think hard evidence of more than just one example is due before we can assume the 5G has the issue too.

Not saying they don't, just saying from a statistical point of view:eek:ne example cannot speak for the whole generation".

I get what you're saying and understand your POV... i can say that as someone who is on his 3rd Mustang, and looking at buying a new 2017 or 2018 soon, I'm a long lover of 'Stangs... I was active on other forums and have seen this there as well... all with no real indication as the source... I certainly don't know what the issue is...

I'm on my first mustang after coming over from the LS1 crowd. Love these cars!

Mine has the surging until the oil is up to temperature. It did it stock, and it does it tuned. It's very noticeable, very annoying.

I've never noticed it on my wife's car, maybe because it's an auto.
