Got a problem. Decided that I want an auto transmission and you can't get the performance package with it. The Pony Package gives you the strut brace, "Pony" splitter, 19" wheels. I can easily change the sway bars.

Does anyone know if the Pony Splitter is the same as the Performance Pack Splitter?

Base splitter is smaller. But you can add the PP splitter later if you want.

They say in the spec's that the Pony includes "Performance Front Splitter".

Dealer had no clue and didn't have one in stock to look at.

Thanks!

I've had my non-PP car to about 145 and it was plenty stable still. I don't think the splitter being 1/2" longer is going to make much difference.

The California Special splitter is the same as PP splitter. Looked up parts and the bottom part has the same part number.

They are not the same, you can tell just by looking at them.

I can only tell you is that on the Ford build site is if you build GT without the PP and the with the PP the splitter changes. When you go from the PP to the California Special the splitter picture doesn't change. I ordered the car yesterday and the dealer checked the part numbers on the lower valance parts and the CS and PP had the same part numbers.

That is all I have to go by.

Thanks!

Thanks! Dealer gave me bad info. I like the one in the picture even better than the PP one.

I could not find a CS near me. Not a lot Mustangs sold once the snow falls in my area.

Thanks!

This is great! I was going to get the APR extension, but it sticks out enough that I don't need it!
