I open this topic, maybe I'm not alone in this case ... ! (The other topic "First EU Mustang arrived at a dealer (germany)" is not good to explain this thing)
So we can explain here the new delays on deliveries !

My car should arrived this week (EDD for 08/08 in VISTA) and now my car is Delayed to the end of August !!!

I'm really pissed off !!! :frusty: :frusty: :frusty:    :headbonk: :headbonk: :headbonk:

Indeed, received the news today, that my car is delayed from September 5th to September 12th, at first it was August 15th.
I don't know, but I think it's the dealer who maintains some kind of code on the order.
On the other hand, my dealer received today, at least 3 Mustangs, 2 V8 in ruby red en 1 EB in silver. He has 3 dealerships, so I guess that the other 2 also received their first cars.

I think the original indication was August 15th, but even then my dealer told me not to expect it before September, "Knowing Ford". In the mean time I think the indication is 15th of September. So yes, it has been delayed. I try not to get too worked up about it, it helps my bloodpressure.

My car already shipped and waiting at the port in ZEEBRUGGE since the end of June.
That is crazy! Bremerhaven deliveries seems better. The longest i heard so far was 4 weeks.

My bloodpressure has already hit boiling point, hence me feeling forced to write a long letter and involve other people too :frusty:

It may be that there is only so many cars coming to your region or being delivered along the way to you so perhaps they are building up a sizable stock before going out for delivery?!

Normally, my Dealer should receive a Convoy with 8 Mustangs this week, or today he receive only 2 Mustangs. The Dealer belongs to a group with a lot of Dealerships in my area.

The cars are stocked in ZEEBRUGGE then goes to a Car Park in the North East of France. As soon as the car is available there, it goes out for Delivery and should then arrived to the Dealer.

I don't think he's waiting to have a lot of cars to bring my Pony here ...

Well, this doesnt make any sense at all (well, doh, its Ford!). If they had cars going to your dealer and yours still in Zeebrugge....

Are any of your cars shipped?

Or is it a case like my first one, still stuck at the plant?
Dealer consulted VISTA this morning, saying that my car is still in US docks!

No matter how many dealerships they have, they can only have 1 official Fordstore.

My cousin runs an interim office and she has applications for ICO in Zeebruges that does the undercoating.... they are short on staff and handle about 30 stangs a day for the moment. Also the longest delay is getting the cars through customs.

Calm down on your blood pressure man! Once your car is at the dealer and you have to wait another week to get your papers from customs while every visitor at the dealer is getting there hands on your car then your blood pressure really starts boiling!

Spare a thought for us on the other side of the world.

I ordered mine in September last year and won't receive it until some time in November making it a 14 month wait.

Australia always gets screwed with things like this though. A friend of mine was waiting 10 months for a Golf R.

Now, THAT is crazy! Especially as the Golf R is really....just a Golf. Nice, and very very fast though!

Hello!
My EDD initially, according to Vista, was "end of August", then 5 september and then 12 Sept.
Now I can't contact my dealer because it's on vacation till the end of August but I'm damn sure that my pony has been delayed again...
Maybe we can prepare an official letter to Ford Europe asking OFFICIAL explanations about delay, precise timing for everyone and some excuses...it's a really bad situation, for those are waiting for months, those were prepared to receive the car in the past weeks, those, like me, have everything planned because of a switch of the car...
Most of our cars are already built from 2-3-4 months and will be delivered also after 5 months from production....maybe...
