Personally I don't see what the big deal is about this 'premium' interior. It's no where near as premium as what we are used to over here with European cars. At best it's slightly less plastiky. But the difference is minor and they are both sub par. Anyway that's just my opinion.

If you want this slightly better interior option anyway then you have no choice but to change the order. The best part about the pack is that it will give the car a slightly better resale value than a similar car with the seperate options.

Wheel color should not be a consideration as this is easily changable. Your consoderation should be which design (5x2 spoke or multispoke) you like better. You can fix color. But you can't fix ugly ;)

I'm waiting for dealer's answer.

Not choosing custom pack was a "trick" to have the base wheels and no chrome trim around windows. If you noticed, I chose every option of custom pack separately.

I like base wheels design better, more "open" and agressive. I find multispoke wheels too classic for a Mustang. I do have a BMW F10 with 19" multispoke wheels and they do fit like a glove in a classic berlina, not in a sports car. I didn't see too much wheel options in Ford configurator, glossy black base, chrome multispoke from custom pack, and then the 20" wheels from GT, that are expensive and a bit overkill for the Ecoboost I think.

I can live with hard plastics. What I criticize is the lack of information from Ford, both to dealers and costumers, about basic car configuration. Nowhere near the options list an upgraded interior trim is mentioned if you choose the custom pack.

But, as I mentioned, as Ebony premium leather trim is selected by default in dealer configurator at zero added cost, this might as well be as dealer said, and we are getting the upgraded interior even in base version.

Hell, we pay more than most european for our cars (rich country, you know :D ), at least they could sell only the better trim :D

Says the guy who was so smart to take the Recaros :headbang:

I only took heated/cooled seats because I counted then getting the slightly better seats like u said. Otherwise I would not have taken it and gone like u for the Recaro.

Maybe better resale value but I think mainly on some less flashy colours, at least imo

Wheel color is not a problem and now I read colour around windows can be changed (well afterwards and u pay for it).
I still think it is strange that u cannot decide to choose that pack and the color.
With most other brands chrome is standard and black is sportive choice ...
But anyway we go off topic.

Would be nice to see the two Italians again next to each other now after those adaptations!

The suspension is US PP, but slightly modified to fit European standards.

Dealer are a bunch of a**holes. They should be our point of reference and saying "we have no other info from Ford" isn't enough for me. We are only passionate guys doing all different jobs, and we know so much more than any dealer. Why they couldn't open up their PC and do a Google search? After all, these info are not hidden. Want to do a good job, for your customers and for your personal satisfaction? DO MORE.

Hell.
