Pony is Delayed again, someone else ?

Hello!
My EDD initially, according to Vista, was "end of August", then 5 september and then 12 Sept.
Now I can't contact my dealer because it's on vacation till the end of August but I'm damn sure that my pony has been delayed again...
Maybe we can prepare an official letter to Ford Europe asking OFFICIAL explanations about delay, precise timing for everyone and some excuses...it's a really bad situation, for those are waiting for months, those were prepared to receive the car in the past weeks, those, like me, have everything planned because of a switch of the car...
Most of our cars are already built from 2-3-4 months and will be delivered also after 5 months from production....maybe...

I wrote to them.... Seems to have made a difference.

My car was made on 6/5, still at Flat Rock. EDD was 25/7, then 8/8, then 29/8 and by the look of it now October. No way! Wrote letter, involves a few and voila a replacement car arrived today in Bremerhaven :clap2: shoul get it in 2-3 weeks.

Mine is in Bremerhaven since 3 weeks and god knows when it will arrive... I don't even want to contact my dealer because he will just tell me that it's been delayed for another week. Frustrating!

My cousin runs an interim office and she has applications for ICO in Zeebruges that does the undercoating.... they are short on staff and handle about 30 stangs a day for the moment. Also the longest delay is getting the cars through customs.

My car already finished the "Customs" step at the 10th of July. I received this last screenshot from my Dealer since 3 weeks now.

Since then, the car is waiting and waiting and waiting ...

The system says ETA 8/8 so there is a chance that it will still arrive to dealer this week. The ETA in VISTA is apparently not the date that you take delivery but should be delivered to the dealer "around" this date.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, but yesterday he called me and said that the car is delayed to the end of August but he doesn't give me another screenshot from VISTA.

I am hoping that mine won't be delayed in Bremerhaven. It's been confirmed it's there...

My original car is still in Flat Rock, stuck at the Emissions Plant since 11/6 :frusty: Nobody can tell me or Ford DE/Dealer why it's there. Eta looks like end October on that one. I refuse to wait that long. Wrote letters, involved a few and voila, Ford DE + my dealer found me another car (exact same) that arrived yesterday on the Ivory Arrow to Bremerhaven. Once I know the VIN I will ask Deysha to give me the history of it as I have no idea when it was made....

My dealer think I will get it in 2 weeks, I think 2-4 weeks.... but I am very happy that something was done about it

I don't think if something like this happens by my Dealer that he would find a solution to replace my car with another car.

Me too. My dealer, and the commons behaviour of the category around here is "ok, you ordered a car. WHEN it arrives, we will call you. Don't bother or ask before we call you. It could be 1-2-5-10 months, we don't know and don't care about."

Well, my letter was 3 pages long and Ford DE was copied in along with some other people so it may have moved things along a bit faster. Bad publicity is never good....

But yes, my dealer is good

I mean, I ordered mine in March for a delivery in "May". This then moved to June, then end July, then 8/8, then 29/8 and as we know, it takes 9-13 weeks (or longer) from Flat Rock to delivery and mine is still stuck there so means delivery not before October. Simply will not accept that...I am the f-ing customer so at least I think that deserves some respect.

But it looks like it will all work out ok now

Finally, got a Magic call from my Dealer right now, my car will show up next week by the Dealer !!!!

But I think it's mostly thanks to my Complaint Mail that I sent earlier to the Customer Service in France !
