This past weekend (March 18-20) I attended the annual Mopars and Muscle Cars event in Las Vegas. It is a large event with drag racing, car show, etc. I competed in the Pony Car Wars class against 2006 and newer Challengers, Camaros, and Mustangs. There were about 24-30 cars in the class. We received one day of testing to get good numbers for the bracket racing to follow.

Here are pictures of getting the car ready to race in the pits. And in the staging lanes.

Eliminations started and I was surprised at how close many of the races were with some good lights being cut. The "Strip" is a VERY nice facility with good prep on the track.

I am trying to prolong the life of my MT-82, so I was rolling into the launches and my 60' times stayed around 1.9 to 2.0. I was running in the 11.80's around 125 mph

I ultimately made it into the final round, but broke out on my dial in. I was runner up. The only saving grace was that another Mustang won...lol

It was a great time and I wanted to thank William, Mike, and Dustin at Whipple Superchargers Whipple SC for all of their help. I drove 350 miles to the track, made multiple passes, and drove 350 miles back home without a single issue!

Here are a couple of my time slips from last weekend. I'm number 128 in the left lane.

Why is the MPH in your second post only 117-118 vs. 125 in the first post?

I would think with the the Whipple you should be in the mid 120's regardless of traction unless you are letting off before the stripe.

Bracket racing on a 11.9 dial in. I would think he had to let out early.

I was giving myself a cushion and was letting off before the finish line.

I'm running M & H drag radials in the rear size 275/45-18 and M & H skinnies (185/50-18) in the front.
