The car is a month old, haven't polished or waxed it yet. I read somewhere on the forum not to polish, it is that true? If so why not? Car is all black. thanks

Wash, clay bar, Polish and seal. Car is ready for its special treatment when you drive it home. No waiting at all.

I personally would polish car for paint correction only. Otherwise, clay to remove contaminants and a good sealer (maybe top with wax) will do the trick.

Blackfire is a good line of car detailing products.

I would say wash clay bar, glaze, wax/sealant, detailer/spray wax. This is my game plan once I get the time... hopefully tomorrow. In particular Chemical Guys Blacklight and hybrid V7.
