Please help.. round sports air filter

Can I install a round sports air filter into the original company filter housing? If so, what size should I install it in? My question arises from traffic laws in my country that prohibit the replacement of original car parts.

You're better off installing a K&N filter panel that fits in the same way the original element does.

+1 on SHO's post. The stock CAI is actually decent, get one of these: K&N 33-5029 Replacement Air Filter . Or I have this one in my 2019: Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S Air Filter | aFe POWER . All S550 Mustangs (other than Shelbys) with stock CAI use the same air filer. Many online retailers carry them- even Amazon.
