Try going through the Bit esses at 130mph, then bolt 100lbs of downforce on with a decent spoiler or wing and get back to me.Eh, sit and debate all you want. On the back straight of COTA I wound 5th gear all the way out and attempted to keep going in 6th but that was useless lol. Ended up somewhere north of 145-150ish. There was no signs of float or instability with the GT PP stock aero. Hell, I coulda brought a book and done some light reading on that straight.
I agree the stock PP aero is fine in a straight line, but once you throw some corners at it, downforce greatly increases stability and grip. That's why the 350 Track Pack has a large spoiler, the R a big wing, and racecars have larger wings.
