Plate light or lights

I have noticed since I got my car that my plate light seems really dim well tonight I got pulled over for it. It is working but I agree with the officer that it is very dim. I noticed upon looking closer that it is only one light. It seems like it should be two lights. Is it one or two and has anyone else had any issues?

If one plate light is too dim to illuminate the rear plate, I am note sure just how much better would be two dim lites. Definitely going to order a LED set from Diode Dynamics.

Thats my thought looking at it from the back it just seems like there should be a left and a right one the right side of the plate is easy too read at night the left side when looking at the back(Drivers) is pretty dim....Not dim enough to pull me over I dont think but I think the cop wanted to look at the car to.

I have 2 plate lights and they are very bright and the plate is well lit.

The license plate lights on the 2015 are factory LED, so there isn't a simple plug and play replacement (yet!)

However, I would take it to Ford and have them take a look, since it is brand new

Should be two lights. One on each side. If only one is lit, go see dealer.

Yeah only one is lit got down there again today and looking up I can see the other cover guess I will go by the dealer.
