Hi guys,

I have been in an accident, and my front lights got destroyed. (Headlights & fog turn signals)
It was picked up by a tow driver and held in storage for 1 day.

A day later, the car came in the garage but with the wiring cut.

I really need your assistance, I couldn't find the wires anywhere, or any explanation about it.. nada.

Please see how it's suppose to be.
Driver side:
Good.jpg

You can see the same long wire splits to 2 connectors: Headlight, and turn signal.

This is current state:
Bad.webp

And, in the Passenger side, only the Headlight wire "disappeared":
This is after accident:

This is in the garage, where the main wire is not there:
Wire After.jpg

Will appreciate your help SO MUCH!!
I have no idea what to do.. and the garage guys don't have any idea how to fix this...

Where can I find the right connectors?
Wiring? Anything..

You could buy a service manual here for next to nothing:
https://www.easymanuals.co.uk/product/ford-mustang-pdf-workshop-service-repair-manual-2018-2020/

Here the manual is quite expensive, but also very good:
https://www.factory-manuals.com/expand-2019-ford-mustang-repair-manual-646.html

Or here for free (scroll down the page and quite at the end you find a link to the wiring diagrams):
https://cardiagn.com/ford-mustang-2015-2018-service-repair-manual-wiring-diagrams/

Maybe you find the information you are looking for...

Thanks for the reply!

It's not the wiring diagram I need, but the actual wiring harness/connectors so I can fix this / replace the whole harness.
I just can't find nor the correct wiring harness or the actual connectors...

You find all of this in the wiring diagrams of the workshop manual (even the cheap one (around $20) mentioned in my first link).

Left connector C1021 / Right connector C1041: WPT-1279 CU2Z-14S411-ADA

They are around $45 each or there are sometimes cheaper offers on Ebay (though you might need to change the terminal positions):

Hope this helps a bit.

I was just able to dig this out in RockAuto!
Found same as you stated
Thanks a lot!! It definitely confirms that this is the correct one.

I am still not sure regarding the Fog light/turn signal connector - is it WPT944 - 9U2Z14S411NA ?

Many thanks!!

Well, seems like this isn't correct as I have 1 turn signal connector that is good and it looks just like WPT-944.

But anyway, the dealer said they might not be able to fix and it's best to switch the whole wiring harness.

Problem is, they are not professional and I don't think they know what they are doing.
I have 2019 Mustang GT California Special with Adaptive cruise control.

I need the front wiring harness for the headlights, turn signal/fog lights..

They say part number is: KR3Z-14290-F

But I also see this is the same but starts with 'J': JR3Z-14290-F
Also seen many others with just 1 letter difference..

Any idea where I can find information about each part to know what is the difference?
Which one really matches what I need?
This is where I am stuck right now....

Thank you so much

Ok, sorry, that the information is not correct. This is what I found in the workshop manual 2018-2020. And you definitely need someone with wiring experience for fixing this. A new wiring harness is a safe option.

I think the difference between "J" and "K" is the production year. J is for 2018, K for 2019.

No issues my friend.
Appreciate your help.

Ok so K would be for me as I have 2019.
But the thing that concerns me is that there are wiring harnesses almost for each model.
With Lights, Without lights, with adaptive cruise, without adaptive cruise.

I cannot find a place where they give any detail on them. All just write "Wiring Harness".

Thought maybe you would know :)

Again, appreciate your help and many thanks!

I guess you only need the front wire harness and I see only two options: with or without adaptive cruise. To be absolutely sure you should check the label which is on your wiring harness. If I am not mistaken you find the label in the right hand corner somewhere close to the battery junction box.

What about hitting up a dismantler and see what they got. Lots of these things are crashed and parts available.
