My boss has no choice then to let me have the day off. I am not sure where the first trip will be... or if it will not be until next year (if the car shows up late enough in the winter, it may not be until spring... :( ) but, i think a quick jaunt from Omaha to Kansas City.. In July, she will be accompanying me to Mertyl Beach, South Carolina for Mustang Week. she will ride in a trailer for that trip. I think i may drive her to visit my parents in San Diego.. That is the beauty of living in the middle of the country.. everything is so much closer!

Triple yellow! I use to run a cruise every year in So Cal called "The Bumble Bee Cruise" yellow and black stangs. The last year i did it, 56 cars overran saleen's parking lot!

Not going to be my first drive per se; however, I am planning a trip a few months after I get my 'stang to drive from Tucson, AZ up to Portland and then the return trip will be the California Coastal Highway all the way down to San Diego then cutting back across to Tucson, AZ.

First time going to Portland and first time on the famous coastal highway. Im pretty excited.

I don't have any plans for a "first drive" as of yet, mainly because I try to avoid a lot of highway driving during break-in. I try to follow the manual as best as I can, and one of the stipulations is to not keep the car at a constant RPM for a long period of time, so I usually shift gears every minute or so on the highway to vary the revs. A bit annoying.

Same here, I think it says 500 miles before driving it on the highway for long periods of time. But I will probably head up to my favorite Malibu canyon road and do a few passes
