Welcome to the wait club, Slade. I was planing on putting my 2000 Sebring convertible up for sale when my car was close to arriving. A guy I know in my neighborhood who new I had a new Mustang on order stops by wants to buy my Sebring for his girlfriend's daughter. Love THAT easy sale! Good luck on your process Slade.
Congrats! I ordered mine on the 3rd and it's gonna be a tough wait!
Keep us in the loop when you hear something.
I'd love to know what colors/options speed up or slow down a build. I did read that some believe that Ford is prioritizing EBs to get them out in the wild and generate interest in the engine, but I don't know if that's true.
It's sort of an unreal feeling. I was planning on ordering a 2016 but my daily broke again, and we're at a place where we could afford it. As the delivery date is getting closer it's become more of a reality. I don't think it will fully set in until it's parked out front of my house.
8 weeks doesn't sound like a long time, and the first 3 to 4 weeks is quick, it's the last 4 weeks that's killing me.
[QU OTE=Slade;449760]Sold my lovely MX5 and placed a X-plan order for a Magnetic GT Premium Auto with Premier Trim and Voice Nav. 18" foundry wheels. The wait begins....[/QUOTE]
Cool.
I had thought the only cars That had the 18 inch foundry wheels was the V6 w/ 051A convertible (& hardtop 201A).
But going to my dealer's lot tonight to see Deep Impact blue ( my color) for the first time in person I saw it was on a hardtop not a convertible, an EcoBoost Premium with the 18 inch foundry rims. They were listed as a separate option for $155.
Did you order the 18 inch foundry rims as an independent option for $155?
Yep, did order the foundry's as an option. Like the old school look...reminds me of my 67's. With x-plan I think it was $141.00 or so.
Thanks for the welcome all...It'll be one week tomorrow and I'm reading everything I can. Downloaded the Owner's Manual and have read it twice already...
I'll have to look up what foundry wheels look like as I elected to just stick with the stock wheels and perhaps come up with PP wheels for summer and the stock ones with snow tires for winter. @Slade, I'll see that and raise you! I've got v1 and v2 of the owners manual and have been split screening them to find what the differences are. [There is a small chance I'll obsess about this.]
In other news I'm officially in COTUSB but not COTUS yet. Very exciting!
Yep, you do have me beat...I didn't even know there were 2 versions! I got my deal and dealership #'s today so I'll be looking up COTUS today. Per the dealer I have a "partial VIN" whatever that is...
