On Monday evening my Corvette suffered engine failure. The cause of which was from a faulty methanol pressure switch (a $5 part)... When it failed, it left the methanol pump stuck ON while the car was idling at a stoplight... which filled the intake/t-body/intake manifold with methanol, and when I went to pull out at the stoplight it hydrolocked the motor.
The damage is mild, looks like some very minor cylinder wall scoring (nothing a very quick hone won't fix) and likely 1-2 bent rods. All the pistons look fine, the heads and all other parts are fine too.
I'll be parting the car out, selling most of the modified parts and replacing with stock except for brake pads, lines, rotors, and suspension mods. A friend has a stock LS1 he's going to sell me and we're going to throw that in, remove the turbo kit and most other mods, and the car will be for sale as a "stock with suspension/brake mods C5" for about $18.5k obo.
So last night I went into Pierre Ford in Seattle and talked to Matt W (awesome dude, GT500 owner, big time car guy) and ordered a 2015 Comp Orange GT Premium with Perf Pack, Recaros, and literally every other option you can get with it. They said 8-12 weeks for delivery, which is fine with me.

Hoping to have a set of wheels/tires, perhaps a set of springs (maybe Steeda will make some Ultralights for it again), and an SCTFlash loader and intake, ready for install when it gets here
