Pinstripe Tape Fetish?

I know some folks here have carbon fiber fetishes, but I think I found mine. Pinstripe tape. I've always found the front of the 550s somewhat lacking as compared to older model Mustangs. Had the Roush front fascia on my 2015, but didn't want to spend the money on it or go through installing another aftermarket one again. So....after adding the pin tape to the rocker panels, I did the splitter and then thought...hmm, I got 150 feet of this shit for 10 bucks, what else can I do? So I did the 2 small sides of the grill....then the whole grill....then the bottom grill...then those stupid (whoever designed that part of the car should be beaten with a wet hose) pocket thingies....

I love how the upper grill came out....but are the pockets/lower grill too much? I know the lower grill will be subjected to endless "let's put a smile on that face" jokes, but I kinda like it. Figured I'd share. Back of the car is next.

I think the upper grill looks dope.

I’d pull the lower off and apply to the front spoiler and sides instead, check out the red striping on this one....

Agree with him ^, looks great but something with the lower splitter and the actual stripes you've got running through the bumper throws it off for me.

I did the front and side splitters on mine and was surprised by just how much I really like it

Nagare, I actually have your exact photo stored on my phone as I have a LB '17 GT and REALLY dig the blue tape you did. So much so that I actually ordered the red pinstripe tape off Amazon and am planning to try it out this week.

I think it makes the front end really pop! I'm on the fence whether the lower grill is too much or not with the hood stripes carried over to the bottom lip, but it doesn't immediately hit me as "too much". I grew up in the stripes and graphics overkill era of the 60's and 70's though, so my taste may be tainted
