You make more power using higher cr but it requires the tune to be spot on. With low cr it doeant require that. Also using higher cr you can use less psi to make the same power as a lower cr engine using more boostI'm curious why the high compression one? Being boosted and all?
That Whine! :love:almost forgot to mention, i put a 70-130 pull on youtube. switch to 1080p and you can read the speedo
Woah!I am going to begin parting this car out, back to stock. If anyone in the Chicago area wants any parts off of it, let me know.
My first focus will be on putting the IRS and exhaust/headers back to stock.
Damn! Definitely setting a bar that hasn't existed before!I currently have a Vortech blower car here for a fuel system build for someone else. I might use this thread to post some pictures of it soon. Here is a regulator mount I made for it.

Did you have a lift for the clutch?Welcome to the club! In the last few weeks I started the same thing.
Phase 1: entire suspension back to stock. Took 16 hours.
Phase 2: put stock headers, exhaust, clutch/flywheel, and shifter. Took 15 hours.
Phase 3: un-install the Whipple. Currently 85% done. Spent 8 hours so far probably 2 left.
Phase 4: All my visuals. Haven't started yet
Hope your getting something good to replace the mustang. I'm
Trading in for a 2017 auto car and putting everything on that car.
Good luck my friend.
Sounds about accurate to me. I might just leave the clutch and flywheel in since I would be surprised to get $500 out of a used clutch and flywheel.Welcome to the club! In the last few weeks I started the same thing.

I was set on getting a GT-R a few weeks ago when I made the decision to get rid of the Mustang. But I dont know anymore. I personally think they are hideous and dont know if I really want to have to look at it every day. But the fact remains that it will do everything else that I want it to do, and its the only car under 100g that can.
I really like the idea of a GT350, but that is a lot of work and money for what really is just a body kit *for me*. The other marginal improvements would be negligible coming out of a GT that would crush it at anything I will actually use it for.
So for now I will just put the money in the bank until something comes out that I like more, or I come across something Ive got to have. I wouldnt mind holding onto the Mustang until I know what I want, but by the time I figure that out it would take too long to get rid of it.. not to mention its depreciating fast so I might as well get out while I can.
Yes, I am very lucky to have my own lift.Did you have a lift for the clutch?
