Perimeter alarm?

Does anyone know how to turn off the perimeter alarm with the optional security package? When I get out of the car it only gives 2 options perimeter or all sensors.

I'd like to know the difference... very little in the manual....

I think it's just there to make the parking lights go on and off to mess with people's heads. That's the only thing I have seen it do.

Are you asking, "Can I lock the doors without any alarm being enabled?" ?
