Perimeter alarm questions

Hello I purchased a 2017 mustang and on the window sticker it's states perimeter alarm ... I lock the doors with the window down and a little LED on the door panel stays on solid does not blink I walk away leave the key inside the house and come back stick my hand in the window nothing happens I tap the car nothing happens the only way I can get the alarm to go off is physically opening the door there is also no setting for alarm in my display as I've seen videos on YouTube going into settings to turn on ... my mods have been tomtop radio , window tint and Cobb accessport .. just putting it out there in case any of those could have had something to do with it...

watch this video, notice he could reach in and hit the door panel on the silver car and no alarm but it did go off when he hit the console
