The fronts are very flush. The rears poke about 1/4"...but in only on prokits and havnt touched the camber. There is 0 rubbing though.

fordguy, do you feel that running a wider tire affects performance at all? I would expect it to stick better in the corners but how about straight ahead as in a 0-60 sprint?

I didnt notice any loss in mpg, or 1/4 times...better actually cause they hook alot better than a stock 235

IMO the wider the better but with a proper wheel and tire choice, you gain alot width, traction, footprint handeling and breaking. It depends on the wheels you go with .

Was also thinking about buying GT PP wheels for my V6.
How much heavier are they vs stock? I'll likely be buying 19" wheels anyway, but why such the negative feedback on the Oem?

I want to say the combo is like 13 to 15lbs heavier per wheel/tire, assuming you have 17s currently. Im sure the stock 18s are a few lbs heavier per wheel than the 17s

Are the 19's considered heavier than normal vs other aftermarket 19's? Or are they right on par?

I don't know why. And many think that the Pirelli tires are junk also. I like the wheels and the tires are great performance tires. You just have to watch when you use the tires. They don't like cold weather. the warmer the better.

Similar to regular tips, maybe a little deeper down low.
