that is tire width not diamter. the diameter should be very close to the stock 17s or 18s. they are a good amount heavier though
You're correct, if forgot the 17 and 18" V6 wheels have 55 and 50 aspect ratio tires.

im pretty sure the 17,18 and 19" stock setups are pretty close to the same dia...just differnt side wall ratios. but those pp wheels are freakin heavy

The PP rear tires are a little bigger diameter than the stock V6 tires (27.7" - PP vs. 27.3" - V6), but also weigh a good deal more. The wheel and tire is about 10 lbs more each.

yeah i think youd notice the extra weight more than .4" dia...though thats not helping either. i know when i was looking for wheels i didnt want to add any weight over stock. thats one of the reasons i went with 18s....and because im a little old school...20"s and performance just doesnt sound right 8n my brain :p

The best looking stock wheels IMOP are the 20" machined foundry's, but those are quite heavy as well. I'd love to put 18's (aftermarkets) on my car but l think l'd have to drop the car quite low to get it to look right.

Why don't you guys buy the PP reps from American muscle? I thought those are a little lighter the. The originals? Either way I bought them for a fraction compared to the originals.

The GTPP wheels are one of a few OEM wheel sets that are made in the USA too. Honestly the only difference I noticed was improved cornering.

How are you liking those wheels and what finish did you get? Was wondering how that gunmetal color looks.

I got gloss black. Looks just like the originals except the center caps. Pm Alex and I'm sure he will get you a better deal compared to their website.

Fordguys550, great looking ride with awesome wheels. I really enjoy reading about your mods. If I understand you correctly, your wheels weigh very close to your originals, 17's I believe. Can you please provide some details of the weights of the wheels as I have never seen those numbers posted. with and w/o tires if you have that data. Thank you!

Very nice and the weight is minimal. Can't tell, these aren't poking at all are they? Also do you have a shot of these down along the length of the car?
