Weird question, but are they now the lowest part of the car? Just thinking from a lowered, bottoming out perspective - also thinking of getting the pro-kit if my car ever arrives
Just went out to the garage and checked. Yes, the rails are now the lowest part of the car.

Pro-kit is a solid choice.

I'll definitely need some exhaust at some point too.

In preparation for the blower install, I went ahead and removed the sound tube. Kind of a pain to reach that nut on the firewall but a combination of tools, patience and arm wrestling got the job done.

Nut Shmut - I took mine out on Saturday. Took the front two segments apart and gave the back one a good stiff tug and out it came (I did loosen the strut bar and move it out of the way). Saved on the frustration of trying to get to the friggin nut. Still chewed my hand up a bit putting in the firewall plug but it was all of a 15min job.

Can't wait to have wheel changes be a breeze! :headbang:

I wanted to keep the sound tube intact but whatever gets the job done!

I'm hoping to have some updates/pics soon when the new wheels and tires get here.

Problems?

Very nice! Was shying away from the Procharger with all the issues with tune and such, but since I wanted just the regular H.O. kit on a stock Mustang, without any loss of drivability and IMRC issues, I will take a second look and keep considering it!

Awesome build!
What problems have the Prochargers encountered? HO kit or stage 2? Any feedback is really appreciated since this is the supercharger that I'm looking to go for vs the Roush.

Earlier on, some Procharged cars were experiencing some surging and drivability issues mostly at part-throttle. There seemed to be a learning curve with tuners.

I would say for most (perhaps all?), this is no longer an issue as the tuners eventually figured a way around it. I believe even the newer version of the "canned" tune from Procharger has also quelled the issue.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Procharger if I were you.

If you want to learn about it, the search function is a valuable tool. There's a bunch of threads that mention it.

Here's a couple that come to mind:

Do some research and get some boost.
