Performance Package Soft Clutch?!?!

Hey guys I have a performance package gt 2016 6spd. The other night I met up with a friend that bought a 2015 GT he has about 12k miles and I only have about 800 miles. Just recently got it. His clutch felt very smooth and firm, but mine feels very light. First time owning a mustang but have always had manuals. Just can't remember if they always feel light at first. Will the clutch settle in and get firmer, is this how the gt performance package is, or should I go to the dealer and complain?

Many members remove the clutch pedal helper spring. I don't have pictures of it to post for you. Look around this site. I've seen pictures.

Also, I have installed clutch packages that feel way too light when new and as the disc breaks in the pedal pressure increases. I put a Luk set up in my truck the last time and that's exactly how it went.

Thank you guys. I removed it last night. It's definitely a lot stiffer but much more linear. It really helps with smooth shifting now.
