Yeah, that was my thought too. Seemed a little low for shopping cart damage.
+2 Didn't seem like a shopping cart to me either....

Don't use rubbing compound. Polishing compound or commercial scratch remover. If they don't work, go to a body shop.

It's just a car... If your that upset call your insurance company, file a claim and have it repaired. I'd rather be careless than be so superficial as to cry about a scratch on a car that is still mechanically flawless.

Well, now you know the type of person that did that to your car.

Is that really necessary?
Because that's just the attitude the morons out there have. Oh it's just a car, just a scratch. No one cares how hard you worked for it just because they are leasing a luxury car/$30k+ car that they could never afford to purchase. 99% of us here bought our cars; there is very little leasing of new Mustangs going on out there.

No one cares that the owner might have a $1,000 deductible and be stuck out of pocket a few hundred dollars to fix that kind of damage since it'd be more expensive to report it.

Someone did the same BS to my 2009 vista blue GT500. Scraped the rear bumper paint on the side where the seam is in the parking lot down below the primer and just left. $1300 later to fix the f*cking paint to get it blended back into the side of the car since it was a metallic paint and didn't want a chepo job. $300 difference wasn't worth reporting for rate hikes.

Unless the careless moron people/"it's just a car" people want to come out of pocket to pay for the damage of others then they should just STFU. "It's just a car" only works in an accident where it was better the car then you, not some a-hole moron who knows what they did and dishonestly runs away like coward.

Yeah, pretty insensitive thing to say. I'd be absolutely pissed. You don't know what his deductible is so why be so glib about it?

Until you report and your rates go up. Same thing at the end of the day. A-hole people cost us money.

Yes, I felt it was. This guy could care less, you can tell by his comment. Like another guy said, some of us have to bust our asses to have this car. To see some lazy asshole mess it up because his fat you know what is too lazy to push a cart to the bin really gets under my skin!!!:frusty:

So, if someone makes what *we perceive* to be an a-hole comment, then that entitles us to be an even bigger a-hole.

I guess that's the nice thing about the high road - there sure as hell ain't much traffic.
