After base tune install and data log are you aloud to drive your car on base tune while you wait for Lund to send you the revised tune?

As long as u stay out of boost and do what lund advises.I have driven mine a couple times on the base tune but took it real easy.

If I remember correctly the base tune's job is to get you to the dyno or to the road where you'll do your data logs for real tuning.

Ok was just wondering because I have to drive my car back home an hour so I'm wondering if I should just leave it till I get the revised tune or just take it home

Dude take it home and dont go into boost and u will be fine.The base tune is used to start your data logs so u can drive on it,if not they would not have sent it to u.Drive like u got sence,no wot and your fine.

You should be able to drive on the file. Just stay outta boost

Paxton doesn't come with a usable canned tune? Factoring in an nGauge / Lund tune, and a more involved install, it seems like Paxton is more expensive than Procharger.

if your doing a complete kit, then yes, paxton comes with a complete tune

I bought the complete kit through beefcake at a great price. Yes the complete kit will come with the SCT X4 with a canned tune ready for WOT. The tune is not bad for being calibrated for 91 on 47lb injectors. Been running it for a few months now with no issues and the power is definitely there, this thing rips and I know it has way more in it with a custom tune. Paxton claims 615 crank HP and even more with there JLT intake which I have. I want to say I'm somewhere in the 520 - 550 whp range which is plenty for me at this moment. Not sure where i'm going with this, but yes you can get a actual tune with the complete kit which is less expensive than Procharger.
