I am finishing up my paxton install and the instructions say to hook a 3/8 hose to the 3/8 barb on the intake tube but my tube is plugged. I was wondering if something has changed since instructions were written. I couldn't find a barb to go in the tube. I can go buy one but I wanted to make sure I should hook the hose there.

So what is the black barb in the pic for?

I think you're confusing the silver plug with the actual black bard in your pic. The 3/8 hose connects to the 90 degree barb in your pic.

I'm not sure what manual your using but my bottom hole on the intake is plugged like yours.

Just have a hose running to the top barb.

I took a picture for reference but have to shrink it down to upload

Connect the hose to the black barbed 90 and that's it. The instructions show the connection disassembled for clarity, which actually fooled you on this occasion.

Ok that makes sense. I was a bit delirious after working on it all day.

Might want to plug that line going to the intake tube and run a small filter. At WOT the supercharger will actually cause your intake manifold runners to close at WOT sucking in air from that line. Route it like this pic, the circled blue part is what's causing it. So plug the intake barb and add a filter to that vacuum line that originally went to the intake.

Did lund tell you to do that because it was causing some sort of performance problem. Can you take a picture of your setup?

He did, mainly for precaution more than anything.
