Vrp when your paxton failed before do you think it was because of using the stock bov. What did paxton say caused it to fail?

That is still unknown, although Vortech claimed overspeed did it.. Oil slinger broke off shaft damaged bearings etc etc... But then I see guys running 3.33 with no issues. :shrug:

My money is on the stock bov causing damage, I ran the 3.00 pulley with 20% OD for a little bit with no problems.
Countless guys running 3.33 & 3.15 pulley & a few shop build cars running 3.00 & even 2.75 I've read about before. Might of been jpc car with the oil fed 2200 but still way out of its rpm rang.

I know of another guys that failed recently on a 3.48 he was running high 9s @ 138, using stock BOV like me.. Just got that Tial so well see!

I dont know if this helps but when i bought my procharger D1x from beefcake, terry told me i would need either The procharger race valve or the tial 50mm. I was just going to go with the surge valve that comes with the kit.. but i went with the tial!
