The vortech on my foxbody did that and I remember having to change the power pipe and bov but that was so long ago I don't remember half of it. I'd rather it not surge so it doesn't wreck the damn thing. Did you change your bov or did your car not have this issue?
This has not been my experience at all. I purchased the same kit from Beefcake. I sent my first log on Monday 3/7. That means I sent my first log 3 days before your kit was installed. I have only received 1 revision per day. My car is still at my installer and the tune is not complete. Sounds like your experience has been great though.
Not difficult at all. I'd say 3/10 for difficulty. Directions were very clear. I honestly didn't really read them all the way because it's pretty straight forward. I started it the night before I had surgery and it was done a couple days later. I was only doing a few hours here and there after the day of surgery. My girlfriend, who knows nothing about cars, gave me a hand where I needed it and she was surprised at how simple it was. Total it probably took me 10 hours. I also swapped out the grill while I had the front off which took an extra half hour or so.
Is there any grinding/cutting metal pieces required in this kit? Thanks in advance!
