Finally placed the order on a Paxton kit with Beefcake last week after debating and changing my mind a million times. Initially I was wanting the Vortech because of my past experiences with them on my foxbody mustangs, but Terry gave some great advice, and plus he had a few Paxton's in stock, so I went ahead and grabbed one. I got the black kit, 3.6 pulley, ID1000 injectors, BAP, colder plugs, JLT CAI and Lund tune. Can't wait for the kit to come in and see what the car puts down! I will more than likely be doing clutch and half shafts right after the install since I enjoy drag racing. I've got 20k miles on the stock clutch so hopefully I can at least get some enjoyment out of the kit before having to swap.
If any other Paxton/Vortech owners out there have some tips to help with the install, I'd appreciate it. I've read the instructions a bunch of times and it doesn't seem too bad. I just bought a decent camera too, so I might make an install video and throw it on youtube. It won't be a Bill from CJ's quality video, but it'd at be something at least.
