2 inches of foam wrapped in a black pillow case. Works great!!
Thanks for the tip OP! I'll get my hands on one of those ASAP.

Do you have a pic of your pillow on the seat by chance? Would love to get an idea of how it looks in order to convince the GF of how comfy and great it will be :D

A happy GF in the passenger seat = the GT350 out on the streets more often = more miles of pure exhilaration = many smiles per gallon!

Sure. I'll get you some dimensions. My wife says it's more comfortable too!

This could work, but then if I leave the passenger seat on the driver's side it will be me who won't be able to see over the dash (I'm short too - 5'5").

Do you think a cushion for my GF to sit a bit higher would represent a safety risk during a crash? and do you think using a cushion would wear the alcantara more than normal sitting?
As long as the seat belt crosses in the proper places, I would think there are no safety issues; children sit in booster seats all the time. I imagine wear would be less with a cushion?

No GF in the passenger seat = even more smiles per gallon/liter in my case.

She prefers to stay home and cook some nice meals .

Gonna need to go the foam cushion route as well. My GT350 is coming soon and the wife is 5'2, she won't be happy about no height adjustment.
