So, we found out on the way home with the car that the Passenger side Recaro has no height adjustment. My wife is only 5'3" tall and has to stretch her neck to see over the dash....:( And that was with a pillow under her cute little butt:thumbsup:

Guess I'll have to make some brackets to raise the seat.....

lol yup noticed that this past weekend while giving my friend a ride. She couldn't even see over the dash and that's when I realized the passenger side has no height adjustment! I don't think I'll do anything about it but I just thought it was a little odd.

While you're at it, make me some brackets to lower my non-Recaro seat. I feel like I'm driving a pickup truck with those things!

Soo.. roughtly how much lower is it than the drivers at lowest level? And if its quite a bit lower, any ideas on if you can just switch passenger and driver Recaro's around? I'm 6'6", and while Ive done my test sitting in a 2016 GT350 with techpack seats, theres not much headroom left :D

I think you'll find the Recaros will work better for you as the Tech seats are a bit higher. My wife can see just fine in her Ecoboost Premium, which are basically the same as the Tech seats. I'll take some measurements in both cars and report back....

So here we go... All measurements taken with seats fully lowered, adjusted fully to the rear, seat backs at 60 degrees, and my measly 5'9" ass in the seat.
Head room measures:

Driver Recaro: 5 7/8"
Pass Recaro: 6 1/8"
Driver/Pass Tech: 4 1/2"

So a driver will gain 1 1/4" of head room going from Tech to Recaro. Pass Recaro is another 1/2" lower than the Driver!

I just want my eyeline to be in the middle of the windshield. 6' and I have to lean back like a gangster to get 3/4 of the way up the windshield.

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but my GF has the exact same issue (she is 5'2") and feels a bit uncomfortable with not being able to look over the dash.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

I wonder why Ford decided not to include height adjustment for the passenger seat

I doubt there is... but any way to switch out the passengers recaro to driver side and vice versa, right? Seat Belt, the adjustment tray with the side of the adjustments, etc....

This could work, but then if I leave the passenger seat on the driver's side it will be me who won't be able to see over the dash (I'm short too - 5'5").

Do you think a cushion for my GF to sit a bit higher would represent a safety risk during a crash? and do you think using a cushion would wear the alcantara more than normal sitting?

Well, if there was an easy way to do it, Id take the 1/2" additional headroom( as guesstimated by 84venoms measurement) - with my 6'6" that would be awesome.

Sitting on a cushion in regards to crash safety? Dunno - shouldnt make a major difference with a seatbelt worn correctly, but im not an expert so take that with a lot of Salt .. :D
