Could you be a little more specific as to what/where this "aluminum badge plate" is?

The decorative plaque on the passenger side dash (above the glovebox) is held on by some tabs from the back side of the panel.

Ahh. Thanks, Brian. Now the "passenger side" part makes sense. My old brain was stuck on exterior badges.

Thanks a lot for the information. Are they easy to take off? I was going to replace with a new plate, am I going to have to reuse old parts to stick new one on.

The black plastic piece of dash trim they’re attached to by tabs is easy to remove, just put the whole thing on if you’re planning to swap.
