Anyone come up with a clever / substantial foot rest for our front seat passenger? I know there are any number of ladies out there that can't really brace themselves for "spirited" driving because of their height.

And, no, we aren't wedging a plastic foot stool in the foot well. And we don't need lose pieces of flotsam floating around if something goes wrong goes wrong goes wrong.

What you are looking for is what is commonly referred to as a “Co-Driver” or “Navigator” foot rest, more commonly used or found in Auto-X or Rally vehicles where there is a driver and passenger (Co-Driver).

Here’s some decent UNIVERSAL Co-Driver/Navigator dead pedals/foot rests for PASSENGER side:

I assume you have moved the passenger seat fully forward and then moved the seatback to more of an angle?

Thanks for the links Cobra Jet. Appreciate it.

And I just don't get the sarcasm and bravado of some comments. Thanks for the help???

And, yes, melwff, it's been experimented with. Its not too pleasant riding with your face in the dashboard with the seat moved all the way forward even with the seat back reclined. Have you tried that seat position for a 100 mile drive? It's also very awkward for the driver who's got his seat pushed back. Pretty much a non starter.
