Painting the Pony

Has anyone duplicolored or painted the pony on the grille? If so how did it work out? I was thinking of making it matte black.

Yea thats what I meant to plastidip...long day. Which would explain why my search came up empty.

Simple just tape around the emblem, which doesn't have to be exact and place newspaper on all sides and spray. I literally just kept ripping painters tape and fitted it around the emblem.

Just make sure to pop the hood and slip a piece of cardboard or paper in front of the radiator before spraying, def dont want that gummed up. Even if you tape up good, I would still do it; just slide it down and us 1 piece of tape at the top to hold it temporarily.
