I had considered painting a badgless panel but I think it wouldn't look right unless you painted the area around the tail lights as well. What does everyone else think?

Agreed, I think the area around the taillights would have to be painted as well or it would look weird.

And yes, the 50th bezels would add a nice touch.

I've been thinking about doing this as well to make it a matte finish...but you definitely will need to do the tail light surrounds as well. I'm waiting to see it done before I go for it.

i remember he did such a "quick" photoshop of a painted rearend for me a Long time ago (with the euro-clear-lense-taillights)
