Going to be dropping off my car on May 26th to get the BS factory vinyl stripes removed and then painted, clear coated,
    so everything is smooth.
I'll post before and after pics.

I think I have decided to powdercoat my original GT350 wheels and get the stripes painted to match. This is the color I am leaning towards - Wizard Red over Super Chrome. Stipes would be the stock size with a black accent stripe on either side.

That will look real sharp, and cost less than new wheels.....

You did well for sure. Looks real nice. Did you request that the stripes went over the edge of the hood, near the windshield, and carry the stripes into the grill or did they just do it that way on their own ?
Also, when they did the deck lid and removed the spoiler did they just carry the stripes under the spoiler or cut around the spoiler like the "afterthought" factory vinyl stripes ?

In my conversation with the painter, he said he would paint all the way to the edges. The spoiler was completely removed and the trunk lid stripes were carried through. He did a great job and was reasonable on price. It did take him about a month to get the job done because he had a lot of other business. I was fine with that and told him I was in no rush, but waiting a month to get the car back was pretty hard.

And it looks like he got rid of the "Dimples" in the front bumper for the license plate. Perfect !

Unfortunately, those are still there, if you look for them.

If jealous - can you post more pics of where each stripe begins and ends? I probably wont get mine done for a few months but I just have more time to see what others have done. Great looking car and I love the painted stripes.

Ugh...sooo nice! And since I know I don't like white without stripes, it would be a safe venture for me!
