Has anyone ever painted their mufflers to make them less noticeable?
I really like a clean look and I'm wondering if this would look good. My mufflers are even more noticeable since I've got a quad exhaust. I'm thinking just a flat black color would be the obvious choice (high temp paint obviously).
Not sure if it would look kind of funny with just the two exhaust tips floating in the valance. Or it could look really nice and clean. And my system is 409 stainless, so I'm a little worried about surface rust and I assume this would help with that as well.
I appreciate any thoughts or experiences with this, especially photographs (and especially of quad exhausts). Thanks in advance.
