is it your preferred dealer is 100 miles away, or any ford dealer.

You can go to any ford dealer for warranty work not just who you bought from. But then again, I would go to no dealer for paint work.

Honestly, use touch up, or pay out of pocket for a real body shop to fix.

Is the primer still on the fender, or is aluminum showing?
Possibly primer, what's visible almost looks like plastic. But fender is definitely aluminum, ran a magnet near it just to to be sure. I'm probably just gonna lightly sand it down to level it out and then just use some touch-up paint.

It's my preferred dealer that is 100 miles, namely where I bought the car. Based on the advice in this thread I am leaning strongly towards DIY touch up/ local bodywork shop, albeit making sure that the dealer is aware of the issue.

Thanks all.

The car I just got a couple of weeks ago still had several paint issues, but I'm just going to hit them with touchup paint (and clear) using a tiny brush and drive the f$&@%#* thing. Ford should be absolutely ashamed that its paint quality is worse than on your average John Deere lawn tractor. :paddle:
Yeah after finding that spot I began looking over the entire car, and oh boy there are paint "drops" that have dried but look awful at various points on the car. It's like the paint was sprayed on so heavy it literally was dripping off the body panels when it went to dry.

Also makes me wonder if this was like a "paintsicle" or something and some idiot on the line decided to snap it off with their fingers. Oh well. As Spa2k said, I'm just gonna hit it with some touch up paint and drive. This is no garage queen, she was meant to run free!
