All,

I am interested in your views on what I should get serviced on my car. It is a 2016 Tech pack with only 1600 miles. I got the recall issue sorted earlier this year and had an oil change done at the same time. Since then the car has done about 500 miles.

I am shipping the car abroad in Jan/Feb next year so feel like I need to get the car thoroughly serviced before I effectively invalidate the warranty.

What would you recommend me asking the garage to look at? Just a regular 12 month/6k service? Or should I ask them to look at other things, too? Is it worth changing the oil again after only 500 miles (I suspect this would be a waste of money. I will likely put some more miles on it before the service, though).

My thoughts are that I should have it thoroughly looked at before I ship it, so that if any issues are hiding in the background they will hopefully be discovered and covered under warranty... I am taking the car to the UK so there are certainly Mustang specialists there but none with a great deal of 350 experience.

Views welcome.

Many thanks.

Kev.

Kev, I would thoroughly check for any possible oil leaks. As far oil change, I would dump it after it arrives in UK.
