Hi all, does anyone run one of these in their Mustang? I haven't seen the onboard digital gauges on a S550 Mustang to know if this shows anything additional to the code reading/clearing.

I always run a scan gauge in each car I own, however this being vent mounts it provides a more elegant solution.

Interested in your thoughts, here is some blurb from their site:

P3 Gauges offer a Multifunction gauge that gives you the information you need while maintaining a clean OEM look.

  • Plug and Play install - just plug into your obd2 port and install into dash!
  • Reads and clears OBD2 Codes
  • OBD2 Data for Coolant Temp, Intake Air Temp, Exhaust Gas Temp, Throttle Plate, Vehicle Speed, RPM, Shift-light, Battery voltage, 0-60 timer
  • Peak Recall on all functions
  • Boost and Vacuum from OBD2 port
  • Optional 80psi analog sensor
  • Optional Auto-Dim or Manual Dimmer
  • 2 x universal 0-5v linear analog inputs
  • Includes digital display, custom OBD2 wire harness and control box.
  • Track Pack software upgrade
  • Adds Air/Fuel ratio through the OBD2 port
  • Adds 0-100/60-130/60-0/100-0 timers

Judging by this post I assume you got the deal you wanted from the dealer? ;)

As for the gauge, I've never seen them personally before, but if what I have gleamed from this forum is correct, the centre cluster on both the S550.1 and S550.2 can already detect all of that information sans oil pressure.

In my 15 I used to leave it on the vacuum gauge, as an example.

An OBD2 gauge such as that will update MUCH quicker and be more accurate, though.

If its reasonably priced, I'd get it just for the aesthetics alone.

That's just my 2c :)

they don't provide anything that the standard digital dash doesn't out of the box infact the vehicle detail page provides it all in a much nicer format/readability and the track mode deals with the timings and G readings etc.

Having said that alot of us also have ngauges which is much more powerful anyway

edit: just googled them at that price wow just buy an ngauge instead same price double the functionality
