P1SC HO belt rub?

Hi there, I recently installed my P1SC HO kit this weekend and noticed that the belt is rubbing on the aluminum fin of the head. Please see the attached photo for what I am talking about. The bracket is as tight as I was comfortable torquing it...what am I doing wrong or not considering?

Mine did that also , easy fix ... Just pull the belt off and take a small die grinder to the fin ... Give it about a 1/16 clearance and you will be fine ...

Mine did the same thing. My old belt actually took care of the fin itself.. made a nice little notch that it rides between now.

I just found the same thing on mine. I found the section that I need to grind but my belt is in bad shape. Probably not going to drive it again until I grind the spot and replace the belt. Thanks again for the help. This led me right to the problem.

The instructions in my 2018 kit said to notch the fin.
