Lost with this damn Trans/converter! Anyone have any ideas?!

Back ground on the car. Car is a 2016 with 2000 miles on it. I purchased a circle D 2C from a local guy that was brand new never ran although he had purchased it 1 year ago. Installed the converter at 300 miles and the converter worked good for a few hundred miles then one day it started shifting funny and converter would not stay locked. This is the code that it would throw.

Took the converter out and it had all of the damage in the picture as well as trashed my pump gears. Circle D told me it was one of their older style converters that didn't fit the hub properly. I paid to have it fixed and purchased a new set of pump gears thinking it would fix my issue.

Drove the car home from the shop and converter locked up fine. Drove it the next day and back to the same issue, converter will not lock up! Now the code is thrown every 5 minutes.

Fluid looks good, no shavings of any sort and done really know where to go from here. Has anyone had this issue? Is there a recall for the lock up solenoid? My car is Lund tuned and they have checked the tune and told me there is nothing different in the tune that they don't run on all of their auto cars

Can a bad 02 sensor cause the Trans to freak out? I read somewhere about a bad engine coolant sensor can cause the code also.

It sounds like one of your solenoids could be shot. Ford made a change in early 2014 to the converters as if they were getting ready for the 2015 cars. I take it when you did the swap you didn't notice the difference?

there are actually 3 changes

up through early 14, and then again in 15

circle d's newest version will work with all 3 setups, but you def have to be careful if getting a used converter

with it fixed, only issue i could see is maybe with the trans, the tuning for the converter lund has down pretty good,

I ordered a solenoid it should be here tomorrow. I hope the Trans shop doesn't charge me an arm and a leg to get it installed.

I didn't notice but since getting he converter back from circle D it has been updated to fit the 2016
