Hello everyone,
I keep getting a p0300 code at wot and the car is super slow. I have a cat delete 2.9 Whipple 2015 Mustang auto, It's on a vmp bap and stock fuel pump running Cali 91 octane with octane booster. I cant for the life of me figure out what's wrong with it. I changed sparkplugs and regapped them to .026, I changed maf sensor as well, still the same problem. Where should I look, I see that it's knocking. It's running really rich, I can smell the gas through the exhaust afr is around 10 at wot. I didn't used to have problems with it one day I was testing did a pull it was fine, did another and it lost its power and the did flashing check engine light I get now when I do a pull. Im attaching a log any help is appreciated it. I looked at multiple forums and still cant find an answer. I attached the datalog in zip format. it doesn't always do it. i tested the 60-100 and its running a 3.9 compared to 3.3. I might just have to do a compression test. my tuner sent me another tune and it didn't misfire for 4 runs then it did on the 5th. Im attaching that too whats weird is that it doesn't knock but adds 4 degrees of timing. 93data is the new file

Man I hope not, because if it is, it sucks, but you're probably right.
Yeah hopefully not, but a compression test will tell the tale

Pulling the plugs will too. When mine went, I didn't get just the generic p0300, I got specific codes for specific cylinders p0305, p0306 and p0308, along with knock codes.

Usually you'll see a crushed electrode. Pull the valve cover and get you a Harbor Freight borescope.
