Oh ok . No I didn't , the shop that did my install never mentioned the need for it and they are pretty particular .
Yea I asked and my shop said no need for it. I did notice that the diff gets up to temp much quicker.

Before with the stock 3.73 it would be about 40 minutes of highway driving before it got to 100° now in 20 minutes it is around 140°.

Hey guys having similar issues. 2017 gt roush supercharged. Was in the highway and a vette passed me, down shifted into 5 to catch up soon as I hit 100 went to shift to 6th and immediately had a few misfires. Cel for p0113 and p0316. Iat reading -40. Im thinking it’s due to bad tune and bad iat sensor. What do guys think?

Check wires to connector and connection at crankshaft position sensor for the P0316.

The P0300 is just a random misfire code, the most common posted all over this site. If it were an actual cylinder issue, it would be a P0301-P0308 (with the end # designating the cylinder).

This thread may give some enlightenment to Ford's misfire strategies:

Also to note, this thread contains shop manual info about diagnosing the S550 misfires:
