Apparently the unexpected demand for the 'stang was never expected to be this high.

I read somewhere that ford only expected to move 100k or less a year in Europe
(I'll see if I can try to find the link) Boy did they underestimate that one!

You better bet that GM will be eyeing this closely and try to grab a big piece of the European Pony car market. Then again, the Camaro has always followed the Mustangs lead.

Just read on the 'Ford Inside news' website, a total of 7,400 Mustangs are sold in Europe. Article published 08/28/2015.
