I've been yearning for a new Mustang since 2019. Last April, I ordered a Performance Pack Carbonized Gray GT 401A with Magneride and a manual transmission (I don't know how to drive an automatic.)

A few weeks ago, after Ford stopped accepting new Performance Pack orders, I found out my April order had never been placed.

Because who knows when things will get back to normal, I started looking at used sports cars with manual transmissions. I made an appointment to see a manual 2020 Mustang GT, but without all the options.

Late, the night before my appointment , I did a Google search and Truecar showed the same exact car I thought I had ordered, except in white.

I feel so fortunate to have gotten a car, my car. And I'm happier having the white too.

Prices in 21 changed in 21, so yeah.

Everyone left and right in news is saying how prices will go up significantly for cars due to chip shortage. The demand is here, supply can't keep up, prices go up.

My order tracking page doesn't help as it is stuck on 'confirmed order' since order date but I got the window sticker today and it says blend date is 8/9. Ordered 6/7. Patiently waiting..

Tracker moved from "Confirmed" to "In Production" this morning. Window Sticker is now available. Blend date is 20210810 (8/10/21) shipping via RAIL to Bay Area, CA.
