Does anyone know what is the cut off date for the order 2021 models? Maybe it is June 1st? if it is, then why would they still advertise as 2021 on the website.. They increased the prices on june 1st, and they would do another increase for the 2022 model orders in the last quarter of this year?
They are still taking 2021 orders as of last week. My order was placed on June 11th And I received confirmation email from Ford on 17th with vin number and tracking for 2021 GT/CS.

The last e-mail I got from Ford said my car would be built the week of June 28th. When I clicked on the track your order link on June 17th it said my car is "in production" and "being manufactured". Not understanding their language I am curious what the different wording means. Regardless, it appears I should see my car relatively soon unless they build it and park it minus some chips.

When I ordered I was told the cut off for the 2021 model was April 15th. Obviously that was not correct and at the time I recall thinking April 15th was awfully early. Would think it would be coming soon and possibly early July.
Ive never known American auto manufacturers to produce a particulal model year beyond August. They need couple weeks to tool up for changes to next model year.

In my case the price is the same. Dunno why, but it matches to the dollar with my cost sheet from the time I ordered. I wonder what they raised price wise in the Mustang line?
I ordered June 7th and saw the price increase compared to window stickers I had downloaded from dealerships with similar cars in stock prior to June 1st. Comparing in stock window sticker MSRP to MSRP on my order summary:
GT Premium base price went from $40120 to $40285
401A went from $2200 to $2400
GT Performance package went from $6295 to $6500
Enhanced Security package went from $395 to $500
Active Exhaust went from $895 to $995
Looks like the other stuff like Magneride, A10, B&O sound did not change.

You are missing out on nothing. The emails are useless, out of date and depressing.

Ref. my last post (#119 on June 2nd) ...

Well, I've not gotten an "update" email since 5/20 and every time I've clicked the link to check the status since then it it was still at the "Order Confirmed" stage and N/A for est-dely-date.

Well, checked status today and it now says "In Production" which I'm surprised I did not get an email stating this being it is "update" Thursday. Est-dely-date still shows N/A, but I'm just happy to see the I-P status.

Oh, and I now see I have a window sticker too !!

Doug
Same here, mine says "in production" now as well with a N/A for ETA. Another member in a different thread had a order number in the mid 6K range and he was told its done and awaiting shipping so hoping mine gets done next week as mine is mid 7K.

My understanding was that the order # is an arbitrary number assigned by the dealer... mine is 3333 and I ordered March 22.

That's what I mean.... if it was a Ford-generated number it would have a consistent format.

Finally got my order number to track the car. It's in production with a blend date of June 23. I saw that somewhere someone added the Ecoboost HPP. That's a 6K option I didn't ask for and I doubt Ford or the dealership is just going to eat that cost. Now I'm thinking about whether I re-order or wait for the MY22 order banks to open.
